Working Well, Inc. is an independent Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provider offering a combined total of more than 40 years of licensed behavioral health expertise and services for the smallest businesses to the largest industries in the Upstate of South Carolina. When employers, employees and their eligible dependents experience problems that impact their effectiveness on the job, our professional staff can be depended upon to provide personal counseling that successfully blends - working with wellness - to achieve higher levels of satisfaction and cohesion in the workplace.

We are not just an 800 number where you never know who you are working with.  When using services from Working Well you get to know us personally.  Working Well, Inc. can also offer referrals to other respected skilled behavioral health agencies, or practicioners within our service area to match your individual needs. We can customize an EAP program for our clients that meet their unique needs.

Incorporated in 2004 Working Well, Inc. has worked with such companies as: Magna Cosma Body Systems, First South Bank, Blue Ridge Electric Cooperative, Dunlop Sports, National Textiles, Laurens Electric Cooperative, and Holly Tree Country Club.  Most recently, Working Well has been hired by Greenville Rape Crisis Center, Erwin-Penland Advertising, Walker, Walker, & Higgins, and Senior Action. We are a member of the Spartanburg Area Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Greenville Chamber of Commerce, and have been chosen by both as the EAP of choice for the Drug Free Workplace Program.

  • Jim Phillips, LPC, CEAP, President of Working Well, Inc.

Mr. Phillips has been providing EAP consulting to business and industry for 30 years. He has serviced EAP contracts as small as fifty employees to over 5,000 employees. he is nationally certified as an EAP provider (CEAP), and has experience in all phases of EAP contract services. He is also licensed by the State Board of Professional Counselors (LPC) of South Carolina. His services are backed up by medical, psychological, legal, clinical, and health consultants. He is also a graduate of Mentor Coach, specializing in Healthy Lifestyle Coaching.

  •  John Wanner, MS, CEAP - an affiliate of Working Well, Inc.
Mr. Wanner has provided EAP services for over 12 years. John specializes in substance abuse in the workplace. He provides workshops on stress management, smoking cessation, conflict resolution, and household money management.

Both John and Jim have experience providing critical incident de-briefing.  Working Well has over 50 licensed professionals as resources in their service area.
